If you missed Give to Blue Day but would still like to make a gift to Support Indiana State, it's not too late!
College of Arts and Sciences

Thank you for joining us for Give to Blue 2022!

The College of Arts and Sciences hopes you will help us to continue the College’s tradition of providing students opportunities to engage in hands-on learning across a wide range of disciplines. Our faculty, representing a broad array of fields including the natural and social sciences, creative and performing arts, and programs dedicated to the humanities and communication, are dedicated teachers and scholars who collaborate with students on original research and creative projects.

Students in the College have helped survey the Wabash River for water quality, helped put on a range of shows in the Theater Department, worked in a virtual visualization lab to bring the pre-Columbian cities of Mexico alive, gone with faculty to use Spanish and budding medical skills to help people in Ecuador, assisted in Vigo County’s High Tech Crime Unit, applied their skills from Teaching English as a Second Language, and traveling to better understand the historical sites of Ghana. Every summer, students work in a range of labs helping faculty conduct research and often collaborate on joint publications. Students complete internships with the national organizations such as National Parks Service, the FBI, the Smithsonian or with local businesses and cultural institutions.

The College’s Give to Blue Day priorities reflect a desire to continue this tradition of giving students the opportunity to collaborate with faculty, to engage in experiential learning, and prepare for careers contributing to their community in Indiana and beyond.

Give to Blue Day Priorities:

On behalf of the students, faculty, and staff of the College, thank you for your willingness to help support Indiana State University.
